We use the most modern methods: from nearly invisible aligners (e.g., Invisalign) to a wide variety of braces, ranging from traditional to trendy. Sometimes we also use removable orthodontic appliances, particularly in early-stage orthodontic treatment for children.

Professional skills matter
While new technologies play their role in making orthodontics more comfortable, discreet and effective, they have not reduced the role of the human touch in the treatment. In the end, tools are just tools.
During the planning and progression of treatment, a number of critical choices are made about the desired outcome, tooth movement angles, tooth shaping and, in the most severe bite problems, possible tooth extractions. The skills and experience of the dentist, as well as the trust and communication between the patient and the dental staff play a crucial role.
Our staff has experience in correcting hundreds of bite problems and finishing smiles. We pay attention to every detail, down to the gum line. Aesthetic, or more limited, orthodontic treatments are carried out to a high standard by both our general dentists and specialist dentists. Take the first step
The first step in orthodontic treatment is a consultation. The consultation does not commit you to the actual treatment. You can book an appointment in our online booking calendar.
Orthodontic consultations are free of charge by the majority of our general dentists. Consultations with dental specialists are subject to a fee (79 €).
For orthodontic treatment for children and adolescents, as well as for more complex bite issues, we recommend scheduling a consultation directly with our orthodontic specialists.
Our specialist dentists, Iiro Koski and Anna Iivari, have also successfully treated numerous challenging orthodontic cases—involving children, teenagers, and adults alike. Malocclusions, crowding, or aesthetic issues can all be corrected by Anna and Iiro.Angie Lehtikari has worked in orthodontics for 20 years, taught orthodontics, and supervised or consulted on over 2,000 cases. As a dentist, she has straightened the teeth of patients of all ages, including adolescents and young children. Angie also provides services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

The consultation provides an initial assessment of the situation even at a distance and allows you to plan your treatment sessions according to your schedule.

We set out to correct the asymmetry caused by Soinnu’s missing lateral incisors using a combination of clear aligners and veneers. Invisalign treatment is a discreet way to straighten teeth, and Soinnu’s treatment took about 12 months. The veneers placed on the surface of the teeth are ultra-thin; for this reason, the teeth were ground down as little as possible.
Tomi
Tomi hoped the treatment would improve both the aesthetics and functionality of his teeth. The treatment consisted of orthodontic alignment, replacement of a previous ceramic bridge, restoration of six upper front teeth with ceramic crowns, and replacement of two teeth with dental implant crowns. The entire treatment took approximately 12 months.
