Iiro's special expertise is orthodontic treatment for children and adolescents, as well as orthodontic treatment for severe bite defects.
I trained as a specialist orthodontist, specialising in orthodontics for children and adolescents. In addition, I have extensive experience in specialist care for adults with complex bite defects, but also for lighter aesthetic treatments.
In addition to my clinical work, I regularly participate in international trainings and work as a researcher at the University of Helsinki in the field of 3D facial imaging. In addition, I hold positions of trust on the board of the Orthodontics Section and lecture actively to Finnish dentists.
I work calmly and carefully, and I have received a lot of praise from clients for listening to their wishes and explaining treatment options clearly. The most important thing for me is that the client feels safe and understood in my practice.
Orthodontic treatment is always an individual process and it is important for its success that it is carefully planned and based on evidence. With further training, a specialist dentist will have a deeper understanding of bite function, facial growth and dental aesthetics.
I offer both traditional braces and discreet aligners (Invisalign, Angel Aligner). Together we will choose the solution that best suits you or your child. The treatment is always based on research and modern technology - taking into account the wishes of the client.

Pricing
- Consultation visit: 79 € (After Kela reimbursement) + administrative fee
- Cosmetic orthodontic treatment (including retention): Typically 4000 €–5500 €.
- Comprehensive orthodontic treatment (correction of occlusion and aesthetic issues): Typically 6000 €–8500 €A more detailed cost estimate will be provided during the consultation visit
- Snoring/Sleep Apnea Mouthpiece: 1350 €
